Iconic 24-hour teahouse in Maokong, on the hillside above Taipei. Established in the 1980s, family-run, with terraced outdoor seating overlooking the tea plantations and city below. Local Baozhong, Tieguanyin and Taiwanese oolongs grown on the surrounding hills. Maokong has 40+ teahouses and trends touristy on weekends and during the lantern season. Yaoyue is one of the more substantial gongfu-friendly venues in the area.
