180 years of charcoal-roasting craft, six generations in old Wanhua.
Six-generation tea family established 1845 in old Wanhua (Bangka). Founder Cai Han was a Qing-era court physician who turned to tea farming in Anxi and brought the craft to Taiwan. Specialty: traditional charcoal-basket roasting (焙籠), aged Wuyi rock tea, Anxi Tieguanyin, aged Taiwanese oolong, and Yunnan ancient-tree puer cellared in their own dry storage. Tea shop in heritage register — visit to source aged and well-roasted leaves rather than for sit-down service.
