The southernmost tea in Taiwan, grown a stone's throw from the Pacific in Manzhou, Pingtung. The bushes descend from Wuyi seeds carried over from Fujian around two centuries ago, and the sea air marks the cup: saline and woodsy, bitter up front, then sweetening on the finish.
