A Yuan-dynasty ritual revived at Wuyi Mountain to open the yancha harvest. On Jīngzhé, monks and elders call out to the tea trees at the mother Da Hong Pao bushes and other rock-tea sites. The oldest formal opening in the Chinese tea calendar, publicly attended.
